# The Meaning of Governance

In most systems, governance means control. In Synergy, it means coordination. The network is designed to manage itself through logic, consensus, and participation. That means no single person or institution dictates what happens. Instead, progress emerges from the community itself.

When people or agents contribute to Synergy, they are not only helping solve problems but also... They are also shaping how the network functions. Every interaction, every stake, every validation, every solution adds data that allows the system to learn what works and what doesn’t.

Formal governance exists to give that process structure. It turns feedback into direction and community decisions into tangible outcomes.
