# Evolving Autonomy

Governance in Synergy is not static. In the beginning, it operates under guided development, where the founding contributors help establish the foundation and rules. Over time, as the network matures, governance becomes fully decentralized.

Eventually, every major decision from token distribution to protocol upgrades will be made directly by the community. The DAO will grow into a completely autonomous structure guided by data, logic, and shared human purpose.

This gradual transition is intentional. It allows the system to evolve responsibly, ensuring that decentralization happens with stability and trust.
